Whats in a Name?

My middle name is Patrick. Patrick is a very Irish name, which is why it is my middle name. My father and brother’s middle names are Patrick too. Our family came to America from Ireland, and when my father was born; his parents, my grandparents, wanted to keep some of the heritage in his name. It became a tradition when he named his first son, with the middle name Patrick. I am sure if I get married and have children, I will name the middle name of my son Patrick. Patrick is the name of the Patron saint of Ireland, so that’s what makes the name Irish. Patrick means ‘nobleman’ which is a man of noble birth or rank.
